The Hobot 268 is an especially intelligent and efficient window cleaning robot. A powerful vacuum pump ensures a firm hold, allowing the robot to be used even on rough glass surfaces, mosaic glass, or tiled walls. Using artificial intelligence (AI technology), the robot detects the window surface and calculates the most efficient cleaning path. Two built-in sensors detect the edge of the glass surface, so the Hobot can also be used on frameless windows. Especially practical: a built-in emergency battery prevents a fall if the window robot is disconnected from the power supply (e.g., during a power outage).

Window robot Hobot 268: Suitable for many surfaces

The Hobot window robot cleans all glass surfaces such as windows, glass doors, mirrors, shower cabins, or conservatories. But you can also use it to clean tiled walls.

It also cleans different surfaces within the same area without interruption, as the vacuum and the pneumatic microfiber pad holder automatically adjust to the surface.

Suitable for skylights and conservatories?

Unfortunately, the window robot cannot be used automatically on inclined panes (such as skylights). It can only be controlled on these surfaces using the directional buttons on the remote control. We advise against using it upside down (e.g., the roof of a conservatory).

Firm hold and safety

The vacuum motor enables the window robot to stick to smooth glass surfaces. A lithium-polymer emergency battery prevents the robot from falling if the power supply is interrupted (e.g., during a power outage). Additionally, the device can be secured with a safety rope (tensile strength: 150 kg).

Not cordless!

Please note that the window robot cannot be used cordless. It must always be powered during operation, as it only works when connected to the mains.

Washable microfiber pads

The microfiber pads are washable and are mounted on the underside of the window cleaning robot. Velcro ensures a perfect fit and easy handling when changing the pads. During cleaning, a powerful vacuum sucks in dust, which sticks to the microfiber cloth. Long, soft fibers prevent scratching of the glass surface.

Cleaning frameless windows

The window cleaning robot is equipped with artificial intelligence (called AI technology). This technology helps the robot recognize the entire window surface and calculate an intelligent cleaning route. Thanks to the following two sensors, the Hobot window robot can be used on both framed and frameless windows: a pressure sensor monitors the suction pressure. A laser sensor measures the distance and height while the Hobot moves freely over the surface. This allows it to detect the edges of frameless glass surfaces.

Powerful vacuum ensures secure hold and cleanliness

The window cleaning robot moves on two caterpillar tracks at speeds up to 12 cm/s. It cleans one square meter of window in 2.4 minutes. For cleaning, a easily replaceable cleaning pad is attached to the underside of the Hobot 268. A strong centrifugal pump generates a powerful vacuum that not only enables firm adhesion on vertical surfaces but also sucks in dust.

Cleaning: Automatic or by remote control

The window robot has three automatic cleaning programs. Each of these programs can also be selected manually via the remote control. After completing the cleaning program, the robot stops automatically. You can also control the Hobot manually with the remote control.

Comparison Hobot 268 vs. Hobot 188 and 198

Unlike the Hobot 188 and 198, the Hobot 268 can also be used easily on frameless glass surfaces. While the Hobot 188 and 198 move using special cleaning wheels, the 268 uses caterpillar tracks. Unlike the Hobot 198, the 268 model does not have app control.
